Hyundai’s Creta has reinforced its dominance in the Indian automobile sector, achieving its highest-ever monthly sales in January 2025. The compact SUV continues to attract strong demand, maintaining its position as a top-selling model in the country.

The Indian automobile market has been witnessing rapid growth, with manufacturers introducing new models to keep up with increasing demand. Hyundai, a key player in the industry, has leveraged this trend to strengthen its presence. The Hyundai Creta led the mid-size SUV category in January 2025, recording sales of 18,522 units. This marks its best-ever monthly performance since its initial launch in India.

To maintain its competitive edge and cater to evolving customer preferences, Hyundai introduced an updated version of the Creta in 2024. The new model comes with design enhancements, improved technology, and additional safety features. The refreshed variant has contributed to sustaining Hyundai’s leadership in the segment.

The latest Hyundai Creta offers multiple engine configurations to meet diverse driving needs. The available options include a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine. The naturally aspirated petrol engine generates 115 PS of power and 144 Nm of torque, while the turbo petrol variant delivers 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque.

Safety remains a key focus for Hyundai, with the Creta now equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Additionally, the model features an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), providing enhanced safety measures such as adaptive cruise control and collision warning systems.

The interior has also received upgrades, offering increased comfort and convenience. The SUV includes a 2-step recline function for rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, a dual-zone automatic climate control system, and ventilated front seats. The addition of a 360-degree camera, wireless charging, and an eight-speaker premium sound system further enhances the overall experience.

The Hyundai Creta is available in multiple variants, including E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX(O). The base model starts at Rs 11 lakh, while the top-end variant is priced at Rs 20.42 lakh (ex-showroom).
